SOFIA, Bulgaria (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – In a story right out of a spooky horror flick, a cell phone number issued by a company in Bulgaria appears to be downright deadly. Over the past decade, Mobitel has given the cell phone number 0888-888-888 to three men, all of whom have died way too young. The first owner of the number died of cancer and the second and third were mysteriously gunned down. The company has since discontinued the unlucky number so no one else can be harmed, although they refuse to talk about it publicly.

FOUNTAIN HILL, Pa. – A couple who were born on the same day in the same hospital are getting married. Amy Singley and Steven Smith were both born in Pennsylvania on April 17, 1986, and their moms shared a hospital room that day. Their families remained close as they grew up and the duo began dating in high school. The birthday twins will tie the knot on June 12.

CHATELLERAULT, France – A Frenchman with no arms and no legs is trying to make a splash in the record books. This September, limbless Philippe Croizon will attempt to swim 22 miles across the English Channel in less than 24 hours. He’ll be accompanied by a trainer and medical team during his swim, and will be wearing specially-designed flippers. He’s been training for the stunt for the past two years by swimming 30 hours a week at a local gym.

NEW YORK – There’s serious buzz surrounding a popular Italian restaurant in New York – literally. The eatery was swarmed by hundreds of bees this past Monday (May 31) who clung to the glass door of the building. Police had to rope off the area and call in a professional beekeeper, but luckily nobody was stung by the invaders.
