Smile For The Camera -- Automatically
Friday, March 26, 2010 17:20 GMT
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Smiling for the camera is easy particularly when its done for you automatically.Designer Theo Watson has turned the simple act of smiling into a phenomenon with the Auto-Smiley web application he created.
By putting a code into a computer database, the web cam on a computer detects any time the user is smiling and sends a signal to the keyboard.
That automatically adds a smiley face symbol onto the chat box, email, or any other messaging platform being currently used by the grinner.
Watson says the Auto-Smiley saves anyone chatting online the need to type a colon and parenthesis to let their Internet friends know theyre enjoying the conversation.
Along with that, it makes the web a more honest place because theres no fake smiling.
If someone sees a smiley emoticon randomly appear, theyll know they elicited a genuine grin from their online pal.
