Newborns Cradled By Fake Hand

Looks creepy, but babies love it

SUGAR LAND, Texas (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One handy tool is helping new moms finally let go of their newborn – sort of.

The Zaky is a pillow shaped like a big hand that Yamile Jackson developed to help bring warmth and comfort to her pre- mature son.

The helping hand is designed to ease the transition from the womb, particularly for children born with serious health risks who have a hard time developing.

Jackson says all newborns need to feel touch as much as possible, but even the most doting mom needs a break at some point.

She explains, “If they have to take a shower, do chores, make dinner, or go to work they can put the Zaky on their baby. It will give them the stimulation of the womb and wean them off being held all the time.”

Babies comforted by the big, fake hand drift off to sleep easier, grow faster, and recover from the birthing process more smoothly.
