Simon Cowell's Replacement Must Be Hot
Friday, February 19, 2010 17:20 GMT
LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Whoever replaces Simon Cowell on American Idol next season better be seriously sexy.Thats the word from Cowell himself, who says his Idol successor must, first and foremost, be devilishly good looking.
After thats out of the way, Cowell says the new judge should truly know what theyre talking about as far as music is concerned.
He thinks an industry manager, producer, or recording artist would fit the bill best because theyll be able to give singers constructive criticism, not just play mean judge.
Though many are gunning for his job, including shock jock Howard Stern, Cowell isnt 100 percent sold on anyone just yet.
In fact, he thinks the only real music experience Stern has is playing records on the radio.
Hes gotten a couple of personal calls from interested candidates but admits the wannabe judges were quite boring people who, frankly, dont stand a chance.
Idol airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays on FOX.
