Jesus Commonly Found In Kitchen
Wednesday, February 10, 2010 17:15 GMT
HAWORTH, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Apparently, Jesus favorite hang out is the kitchen.Harry and Sandra Choron are the authors of Look! Its Jesus! (Chronicle) a book featuring images of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and Buddha that have appeared in everyday objects like toast, trees, and rocks.
The most common place to find Jesus is the kitchen, as his image often manifests on grilled cheese sandwiches, chocolate, tortillas, and frying pans.
As a result, Sandra admits shes been eyeballing every chip and cheese puff in her pantry, though most spiritual images pop up when people arent looking for them.
Even when Jesus is on an old piece of bread, Harry says people take it seriously. Many have converted to Christianity or renewed their faith after a holy food find.
The couple say the most remarkable religious images include the Virgin Mary on a rotting grape, Madonna and Child on a pretzel, and Mother Teresa on a cinnamon bun.
