Hotel Employees Pre-Warm Beds

LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Getting into bed on a cold winter’s night doesn’t have to feel so chilly anymore.

At least not for travelers staying at Holiday Inn hotels in London and Manchester.

The chain has added a new service to their list of amenities: Human bed warmers.

Upon request, the concierge will send two employees dressed in heated robes to a person’s room to crawl into the bed and get it nice and toasty for the guest.

Spokesperson Jane Bednall says the service is “environmentally friendly” because they use pure human energy instead of electric blankets to heat beds.

She likens it to a hot water bottle, only human sized and therefore more effective.

It also sends guests into a restful slumber much faster because they don’t shiver when getting into bed. Instead, they skip right to the warm comfort of pre-heated sheets.
