The silly Christmas song I Farted On Santas Lap spreads Christmas fear about kids accidentally ripping one on St. Nick.
However, gastroenterologist Dr. Patricia Raymond says holiday toots can be curbed by dodging certain gas-inducing foods.
She says kids should avoid chewing gum before visiting Santa at the mall because lots of air is swallowed as they chomp.
But what really causes gas are vegetables like brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, and beans.
Raymond says this may be the only time all year that kids can actually make a case for not eating their veggies.
However, to bypass the naughty list, they should eat their greens and ease their bowels with CharcoCaps.
Santa himself can skip the milk to avoid farting while dropping off gifts, although nobody should be ashamed of their brand.
Raymond says people pass one liter of gas daily, and have about 14 emissions in different directions.
