Jeong, who plays a crazy Spanish professor on NBC’s Community, is a real life doctor and had his share of kooky, “pathological” teachers in college and med school.
He recalls one professor who made him take off his shirt in class so his lab partner could draw organs on his bare chest with a marker.
Jeong says the demonstration was “weird” and, “Couldn’t have been more non-sensual.”
The biggest disappointment was that none of the women in his class had to do the same.
Jeong also remembers a quirky French teacher he had in high school who spoke the romance language in a southern accent.
His dad is also a professor, and Jeong is convinced that teaching is an “ego rush” because the students “hang on your every word.”
