Band Erects ‘Boner Donor’ Program

NEW ORLEANS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Instead of waiting until they’re hard up for cash, one band is asking fans for a hand.

Bonerama is a trombone-fronted, funk and rock group from New Orleans whose five-track CD, Hard Times, comes out September 29.

To keep recording and touring, the band has launched the “Boner Donor Program,” where fans can donate $30 to $100,000.

Trombone player Craig Klein says a Boner Membership gives groupies exclusive access to the band.

For instance, the $150 “Roadie For A Day” package allows one lucky fan to follow Bonerama around, stock their fridge with cold beer, and even change out their trombone spit valves.

A $1,000 membership gives fans access to a special Bonerama phone line where they can call to ask them anything, anytime – including unlimited drunk dialing.

The ultimate $100,000 donation lets fans travel to every gig with Bonarama, stopping at only the “finest motels and public restrooms.”

Klein is confident their loyal fanbase will donate, especially female fans who find trombones “erotic.”
