The legendary coach and football commentator is looking forward to retiring from the sportscasting world, but assures he won’t be sitting in his recliner.
He says, “I’ve never sat back and relaxed in my life.”
Instead, Madden is having nine 63-inch flatscreen televisions installed in his office so he can watch every single NFL game of the season at once, and doubts he’ll be struggling to find company.
He explains, “There’s always gonna be a few people because I’m gonna feed them too. When you have that combination of televisions and food, you’ll never be alone.”
Madden also insists he’ll “be the same jerk” who yells at the players – though now it’ll be through the screen – and is even planning on screaming up a storm at his son’s football games.
