That’s the EXpert advice of Michelle Fiordaliso, co- author of Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Ex (SourceBooks), a guide to managing past lovers that’s out September 1.
According to Fiordaliso, the most dangerous kind of ex is the one you keep going back and sleeping with.
She says ex sex doesn’t allow an individual to move forward, so they end up wasting valuable years of dating time still hung up.
But that’s not to say one can’t be “just friends” with their ex.
Fiordaliso believes that as long you’re in control and set clear boundaries, you can have an innocent friendship with a former love.
However, this means not depending on them for anything – from sex to fixing your kitchen sink.
She also recommends wearing “period panties” and not shaving when meeting with an ex, so as to surely prevent ex sex.
