Humans Battle Elephants In Ultimate Food Fight

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The age old battle between man versus wild will come to a hungry head on July 3.

That’s when the Major League Eating Federation will hold the first ever “Cross-Species Eating Competition” in Coney Island, New York, where three of the world’s greatest competitive eaters will face off against three elephants in a hot dog bun eating contest.

Collectively, the elephants weigh nine tons and can put away 200 pounds of food, but co-organizer George Shea is sure the humans will still triumph.

He says, “This is David and Goliath. The difference in physical presence can’t be denied, but it’s gonna be humans all the way. The humans are focused on what this means to their legacy.”

A loss for the elephants has “the potential to alter the hegemony within the animal kingdom,” because a human win will prove people are unbeatable.

This “seminal moment in history” means just as much to competitor Gravy Brown, though all he really wants is to ride one of the elephants.
