So says crossdresser Gina Lance, author of the book Get Dressed!: Breaking Out Of The Crossdressing Closet (Colgate), who’s a father himself to two young girls while living life as a part-time lady.
Lance admits Father’s Day can be an awkward holiday for children of male-to-female crossdressers, but the silver lining is that gift giving is much easier since there’s a wider range of things you can buy Dad.
Instead of boring old ties or tools, Lance says a gift certificate from Victoria’s Secret or pantyhose are perfect gifts for tranny daddies.
Also, just because Pops looks like a lady it doesn’t mean families can’t enjoy a nice Father’s Day dinner on the town.
However, Lance says it’s “not a good day to wear fishnets” and recommends that crossdressing dads keep their womanly look a bit tamer so as not make their kids uncomfortable.
