Conan O’Brien Takes Up Rattlesnake Wrestling

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Funnyman Conan O’Brien is adjusting to life in California by taking up a bizarre new hobby.

O’Brien – who’s moved from New York to Los Angeles to take over The Tonight Show from Jay Leno come June 1 on NBC – has been hiking a lot in the L.A. hills and is now an avid “rattlesnake wrestler.”

When he sees rattlers on hiking trails, O’Brien “pounces” on them and kills them, making L.A. a safer place.

Another sunny SoCal activity O’Brien enjoys is bicycling, though it’s hard to ride in peace in the paparazzi infested city.

He says a crew of photographers followed him for 20 miles on his bike the other day while he wondered, “Really? Am I the biggest celebrity? Isn’t Johnny Depp riding a unicycle somewhere?”

Despite the pesky photogs, O’Brien plans to keep biking, but he’ll be wearing a paper bag on his head from now on.
