Woman Explores Caves In The Nude

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One New York-based “urban explorer” is uncovering the hidden gems of cities around the world – and uncovering herself while she’s at it.

Artist Miru Kim goes deep into the abandoned, underground areas of cities like New York, Paris, and Berlin and photographs herself naked while she’s there.

Kim says she’d feel even more exposed if she were clothed in her photographs because, “I would be expressing my culture, style, and the time period, which to me is even more personal.”

Though she is an avid explorer, Kim admits that her naked adventures do come at a price.

She explains, “In my daily life, I’m a total germaphobe so I do worry about my feet touching the ground. Also, I don’t like to do it in the winter. It’s tough, except when I do it in the steam tunnels.”

During her explorations, Kim has surprised passersby with her nudity, including a homeless man who stumbled onto one of her shoots.

However, Kim says she’s “sure it made his day.”
