9-Year-Old Guitarist Has The Kiddie Blues

ELKHORN, Wis. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Being a kid sure does come with it’s share of the blues.

Just ask Tallan “T-Man” Latz, the world’s youngest performing blues guitarist, whose musical inspirations include Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton.

Even though he’s only nine years old, Latz loves blues music because it’s “unique and it comes from the heart,” and he can truly relate to it.

He explains, “It’s not just grown-ups who have the blues, kids do too. I have the blues when it’s raining outside and I can’t go play or ride my bike.”

Other things that give Latz the blues include getting up early for school, homework, and cleaning his room.

He adds, “It feels pretty terrible for kids when they have to do chores every day!”

However, playing music cures his blues, and Latz has the most fun when he’s up on stage jammin’.

He kicks off his own Internet radio show this upcoming Saturday (Mar. 14) on, where he’ll talk blues with other musicians.
