Balloon Gowns Blow Away Oscar Fashion

MIAMI (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If starlets really want to blow people away at the Oscars this Sunday (Feb. 22), they should sport a gown made out of balloons.

Irina Patterson is an artist who designs high-end gowns made from hundreds of multi-colored balloons.

She says the dresses are perfect for socialites and celebrities who want to stand out and express themselves through fashion.

Though her designs seem strange, Patterson assures they’re not full of hot air.

She says her balloon gowns are very comfortable and lighter than the average red carpet gown.

Since Patterson only uses professional, high-quality balloons, there’s no risk of popping, and the gown maintains its shape for at least 10 days.

In addition to being beautiful, Patterson says a balloon gown can bring instant publicity to anyone who dares to be different.

She’s worn balloon gowns herself out to events and says it instantly attracts photographers and gawkers.

Patterson believes her gowns would look best on a “playful” actress like Anne Hathaway at the Oscars.
