Rattlesnake And Groundhog Pizza Predicts Super Bowl Winner

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The fate of Super Bowl XLIII could be determined by a tasty treat that’s a real “pizza” work.

Every year, Ira Scott concocts a special pizza that’s divided down the middle by a cheesy scrimmage line and represents both teams playing in the Super Bowl.

He claims that the tastier side of the pie will determine the winner of the big game, and this year, things are looking good for the Arizona Cardinals.

That’s because their side of the pizza is topped with rattlesnake meat, Arizona’s finest roadkill.

Scott claims rattlesnake meat is delicious and tastes like “really tender chicken.”

The other side of the pizza – which represents the Pittsburgh Steelers – is topped with groundhog meat, since Groundhog Day originated in Pennsylvania.

However, Scott says groundhog meat is a much more “gamey” topping that’s truly an acquired taste.

Although he personally wants the Steelers to win, he says the pie never lies and laments, “The pizza is reporting a Cardinals victory.”
