Jersey Colors May Determine How Super Bowl Plays Out

VANCOUVER, B.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The Pittsburgh Steelers’ and Arizona Cardinals’ team colors may determine the outcome of Super Bowl XLIII on February 1.

According to Susan Murphy, international educator of color therapy, every hue emits an energy and feeling.

For instance, the Steelers’ bold color combo of black and yellow makes them optimistic and focused.

Murphy says the black on their jerseys will fuel a feeling of “protection from the opposition,” making their defense solid on Super Bowl Sunday.

However, yellow, while a color of “optimism and cleverness,” may be the Steelers’ Achilles’ heel since it’s also a color that makes people egotistical.

Murphy says yellow may lead the Steelers to believe they have the Super Bowl in the bag even before the game starts.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals’ red and white colors will make them “passionate and competitive” and give them “power and physical strength” on the field.

Says Murphy: “Red is the color associated with the fight to survive.”

She says the game will come down to a “battle of wits versus a battle of body,” but both sides have a chance.
