It’s Hard Out There For A Lounge Singer

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When the going gets tough, lounge singer Richard Cheese gets going.

Like many others, Cheese – who sings lounge-style versions of rock and rap songs – is being affected by the poor economy.

Fans have less money to spend on concert tickets, CDs, and swag, but Cheese refuses to lose his empire.

The lounge lizard has been making cutbacks left and right, including less trips to the dry cleaners to wash his tiger striped tux he performs in.

He’s also changing his drinking habits.

Cheese laments, “I’m cutting back on mixers. I still drink booze before shows, but now it’s straight up. There’s not as much cranberry.”

Besides personal sacrifices, Cheese is actively slanging merchandise on such as women’s panties with the slogan “I Love Dick.”

He also offers signed birthday cards, personal voicemail messages, and the chance for fans to have their names sung on his tracks.

Cheese’s new CD, Viva La Vodka, is now available on his site. His next concert is January 31 in San Diego.
