Kristin Chenoweth Remembers Blue Denim Christmas

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Nothing gets between Kristin Chenoweth and her jeans on Christmas.

The adorable Pushing Daisies star says the best Christmas gift she ever got was back in the seventh grade, when she unwrapped a pair of stylin’ Gloria Vanderbilt jeans.

She recalls, “I was VERY excited to get those! The back pocket had a hamburger and fries on them. They were so cool.”

Chenoweth says her and her family “take Christmas very seriously” and are more likely to cry on the holiday than worry about presents.

Her mom always puts up a ceramic Christmas tree with candles, and each member of Chenoweth’s family takes turns lighting a candle and talking about what they’re thankful for.

She laughs, “Every year we’re like, ‘We’re not gonna cry,’ but by the end, we’re all bawling. Even my dad, who’s a man of few tears, let’s go!”

Chenoweth – who also has a Christmas album out – will be singing on TNT’s Christmas In Washington, premiering December 17.
