No One Loves ‘The Office’ Characters

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It can be hard to love the characters on The Office – just ask the series stars and their families.

Angela Kinsey, who plays uptight accountant Angela Martin on the show, says that liking her character isn’t always easy.

She explains, “I worked in corporate America in the past and knew people like Angela Martin. It could drive you crazy. I worry for myself because you bring a bit of yourself to any character you play.”

Co-star Ed Helms, who plays Ivy League jackass Andy Bernard, also struggles to find redeeming qualities in his character.

He laments, “I try to find a lot to love about Andy. If anything, he may be guilty of caring too much.”

The actors, who’s characters are engaged in a love triangle on the show, say they’re even disliked by their families.

Helms says, “My dad always asks, ‘Why are you with that woman [Kinsey’s character]?’”

Adds Kinsey, “I’ve put my poor dad through the ringer because his daughter is the office skank.”

The Office airs Thursdays on NBC.
