JoJo Goes Wild, Drinks, Heads To Rehab

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Another teen starlet is heading to rehab, but this time, it’s only for a movie role.

Singer-turned-actress Joanna “JoJo” Levesque – best known for her hit song “Leave (Get Out)” and her role in Aquamarine – stars in True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet, a Lifetime movie about a star who’s sent to live incognito in the suburbs after a stint in rehab.

JoJo had fun making the film because it was so out of character for her and she got to do things she’d never do in real life.

She explains, “I got to stumble out of a limo ‘drunk’ in front of the paparazzi and throw my bra at strangers on the street. I’ll NEVER get do that again!”

But her bouts with alcoholism and rehab stop at the film.

JoJo cares too much about her career to become a Hollywood wild child and would rather get her thrills in other ways.

She says, “I’m defiant and opinionated, and I like to go out and drive fast. But that’s as wild as I get.”

True Confessions premieres Saturday (Aug. 9) on Lifetime.
