Tim Meadows Keeps ‘The Ladies Man’ Under Wraps

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Funnyman Tim Meadows is keeping his playboy persona, SNL character The Ladies Man, a secret from his kids.

Meadows – best known for playing Leon Phelps, The Ladies Man on Saturday Night Live – says his sons, who are five and seven years old, know nothing about his infamous lady-loving character – and he intends to keep it that way!

He says it’d be an awkward conversation to explain the complexities of the horny Leon Phelps to his tots, especially because it’s already weird for his kids to see him on TV.

He may let his boys in on The Ladies Man later when they’re in college, but hopes they won’t take dating advice from the hilarious character.

These days, Meadows is the opposite of a playboy in The Bill Engvall Show, in which he plays Bill Engvall’s best friend, Paul Dufrayne.

His sitcom character is recently divorced and unlucky in the dating department, which Meadows can relate to.

He explains, “I’m divorced and I know how awkward it is when you try to start dating again. You forget how it works!”

The Bill Engvall Show returns for a second season this Thursday (Jun. 12) on TBS.
