So says Reid Scott, who plays eligible bachelor and radio DJ Brendan Dorff on the TBS comedy series.
The series centers around a tomboy sports reporter, so the cast is constantly talking about sports, which Scott says is great since theyre all huge sports nuts.
He says the baseball, basketball, and football talk gets so intense on the set that any bystander would think the entire cast was a pack of sports nerds.
The baseball banter doesnt just happen onscreen either.
Scott says that between takes, every cast and crew member checks their phones and BlackBerries for the latest sports stats.
And the My Boys crew isnt all talk and no action.
Scott and co-stars Jim Gaffigan, Kyle Howard, and Jamie Kaler sometimes go golfing together after work and even compete in a sporty activity theyve dubbed The Bowling Challenge.
He laughs, Its very complicated. We get really drunk and go bowling. Im pretty good at both things!
New episodes of My Boys premiere June 12 on TBS.
