Achieve Nude Nirvana On Naked Gardening Day (May 3)

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Gardening in the nude is a spiritual experience.

Saturday (May 3) is the 4th Annual World Naked Gardening Day, and Pat Brown, a master gardener and member of the American Association of Nude Recreation, says tending to your bushes in the buff does wonders for your bare body and soul.

Brown says, “Gardening naked is great exercise, and it’s also about spiritual satisfaction. When you’re gardening nude, you begin to understand you’re a piece of something much bigger.”

To achieve nude nirvana, Brown recommends wearing garden shoes, gloves, and sunblock, and staying away from thorny thickets.

She says, “You need your head examined if you work nude with blackberry vines.”

And she has a private pointer when it comes to working in public places.

She says, “We’re not promoting going out in your front yard and exposing yourself. Know your surroundings. The last thing you want to do is offend anyone.”
