Scott Baio Is Bad To The Brooklyn Bone

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Scott Baio is busting out his inner Brooklyn bad boy – and it feels good.

Baio – known for his squeaky clean roles on Happy Days and Charles In Charge – stars in the new Spike TV movie Finish Line, in which he plays a shady, dangerous millionaire who runs an illegal arms operation.

Baio was attracted to the role because he “wanted to be the bad guy for once,” and believes he lived up to the evil expectations.

He explains, “I’m more New York than people think, and a little more street than people think, so it wasn’t that difficult playing a bad guy. It was actually a lot of fun.”

Baio had no problem looking tough throughout the film – until one point.

He had to get in and out of a tiny Pantera racecar while keeping his character’s bad boy stance – a task Baio says was “no picnic.”

He says, “That car was so uncomfortable! It was tough for me to look cool trying to get out of that thing.”

Finish Line premieres Monday (Apr. 21) on Spike TV.
