Harper and Michaels are the tough trainers on The Biggest Loser: Couples, and they say that working out side-by-side leads to intense sessions in the gym for the contestants they coach.
Harper explains, When Jill and I are in the gym together, each with one of our contestants, its like being in a dance-off. She makes her contestant do something, and Im like, Okay, mine can do that too. Well do that and raise you this! Its great because everyone is motivated.
Michaels adds, In the gym, Bob means business!
The trainers have no problem pitting the contestants against one another, but Michaels admits shed never try to challenge Harper to a workout herself.
She says, Are you kidding me? Bob is a triathlete! One time, I trained with him in Australia by running 20 kilometers and I thought, Hes gonna kill me!
The Biggest Loser: Couples live finale airs April 15 on NBC.
