‘Yes’ Rocker Jams With Talented Teens

MONTREAL (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Bonafide rocker Jon Anderson is getting ready to jam with a group of talented teens.

Anderson – frontman of the classic, progressive rock band Yes – is kicking off a four-city West Coast tour with The Paul Green School Of Rock All-Stars in San Diego this Sunday (Apr. 6), in which they’ll play some of Yes’ biggest hits, including “Owner Of A Lonely Heart.”

The All-Stars consist of young, promising teen musicians from The Paul Green School Of Rock, and Anderson is excited to rock with the mini musical masters.

He says, “They’re very talented and have good energy. It’s surprising how together they are at such a young age. They’re so excited about playing the songs that I have to tell them to slow down a bit. It’s totally fun.”

Anderson enjoys giving the kids pointers on how to keep proper tempo, but he isn’t schooling them on rockstar life essentials like dealing with groupies, smashing guitars, or wrecking hotel rooms.

He laughs, “That’ll come naturally! They don’t need lessons for that!”
