Prohibition Prez Says Dump Your Drinks

VASHON ISLAND, Wash. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Bourbon Street is about to take on a whole new meaning.

On Saturday (Mar. 22), Prohibition Party President Gene Amondson is kickin’ off his 2008 presidential campaign with the Dump it! Demonstration, where he’ll be dumping bottles of booze on the notoriously naughty New Orleans street.

Amondson urges anyone who believes booze should be banished to attend his pouring party, but at their own risk.

He says, “New Orleans is the gutter of all gutters. The mafia is there, and there are kooks everywhere. We can seriously hurt the alcohol business there – we fear for our lives.”

While flooding the streets with suds, Amondson and his supporters will also pass out buttons and literature to raise awareness for an alcohol-free nation.

And with Spring break in full swing, Amondson’s excited to give the partiers something new to stomach.

He says, “They’re goofy. We’re there to make them think, and to stop being stupid.”
