Trace Adkins Finds Musical Match On ‘Celebrity Apprentice

NASHVILLE (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Country superstar Trace Adkins has found an unlikely duet partner in the Celebrity Apprentice boardroom.

The country crooner – best known for his hits “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” and “Ladies Love Country Boys” – is one of the final four contestants on The Celebrity Apprentice, and in addition to finding success under Donald Trump’s watchful eye, he’s managed to score a surprising, soprano, singing partner.

Adkins became friendly with Sopranos star Vinnie Pastore, and though Pastore resigned from the competition, their rockin’ relationship isn’t finished.

Adkins explains, “Vinnie suggested we do a song together, like a Midnight Cowboy wiseguy meets John Wayne sort of thing. I’m not sure if it’ll happen, though.”

One thing Adkins is sure about is that he doesn’t need The Donald to stay in the spotlight.

Adkins says, “Trump doesn’t hold my career in his hands. I got a good job, man. I’m not trying to work for The Donald.”

The final two episodes of Celebrity Apprentice air this Thursday (Mar. 20) and on March 27.
