‘The Office’ Actors Share Their Deepest Desk Secrets

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The stars of The Office spend a lot of time at their desks – and it shows.

To personalize his desk on the Office set just right, castmember Oscar Nunez has a picture of his dog Leela, whom he says “Has no idea she’s famous.”

Funnyman Leslie David Baker has a framed picture of his parents on his desk, which he believes is from the 1950s when his folks first started dating.

Office writer and actor Paul Lieberstein has no personal mementos on his desk – mostly because there’s no room for any.

Lieberstein says, “I’ve kind of ignored my desk on the set; I really have. It’s not so clean. I’ve actually lost things on it. Like I slide things in a drawer and come back later, and I’m like, ‘Oh, there’s the book I was reading!’”

And as far as stealing office supplies goes, free pencils are hard to resist.

Baker admits he pockets pencils and maybe a stapler here and there, while Lieberstein saves his pilfering until he’s backstage.

He adds, “Luckily, we have plenty of supplies on the writers’ side!”
