Steven Seagal: ‘Quiet People Are The Scariest Of All’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Action star Steven Seagal has mastered the art of kicking butt by simply keeping his lips sealed.

Seagal – known for his ball-busting action roles in flicks like Above The Law, Hard To Kill, and Under Siege – is starring in the new Spike TV thriller Urban Justice, and believes his trademark way of fighting villains in a quiet, calm, and controlled manner is more intimidating than getting in an enemy’s face.

Seagal says, “I think people who are quieter are actually a lot scarier than people who are loud and screaming. It builds suspense.”

Still, Seagal doesn’t mind raising his voice once in a while, and jokes that he may have to start projecting his vocals a bit more.

Seagal laughs, “Maybe I need to change my tone so people don’t think I’m a one-tone guy!”

And although Seagal has made a killing in the action-thriller movie market, he wouldn’t mind taking on more heartwarming roles.

He says he hasn’t been able to depart from action roles because that’s what people expect from him, but would one day like to “shock” audiences by appearing in a romantic comedy.

Urban Justice premieres this Sunday (Feb. 24) on Spike TV.
