Richard Hoagland is a former NASA Advisor and author of Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA (Feral House).
He has theories regarding the recently released NASA pictures of a woman figure on Mars, and why NASA and the government are ignoring the photos.
For starters, Hoagland believes the shadowy figure is nothing more than a 1.5-foot statue left behind on the Red Planet by a life form that once inhabited Mars.
If the space artifact was scientifically tested by NASAs Mars Explorer Spirit craft thats currently on Mars, Hoagland believes we could get to the bottom of what the object really is and how it got there.
But according to Hoagland, NASA refuses to acknowledge the object or do any scientific research on it because theyre afraid the findings will destroy civilization.
He says NASA is afraid of space discoveries because of the Brookings Report, a document issued for NASA in 1960 by the government that warns of the public hysteria that would occur if evidence of extraterrestrial life ever got out to the public.
Still, Hoagland says Americans need to demand that NASA use the Mars Rover to learn more about the mystery object.
