‘Medium’ Marriage Feels Like The Real Deal

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – These days, Patricia Arquette’s TV marriage feels more like the real deal.

Arquette – who plays Allison DuBois on NBC’s paranormal drama Medium alongside her TV series husband Jake Weber – says the realistic vibe of their TV marriage lingers even when the cameras are off.

Arquette explains, “I tend to stay in my married mode with Jake. I have the bad habit of bickering with him and finishing his sentences. But he smacks me around when I do that!”

Weber adds, “I try not to listen to Patricia’s nagging all that much. But we have some good scrap-ups on the set, especially in the DuBois kitchen!”

And both Arquette and Weber wish they could change certain chatty traits of their on-screen mates.

Arquette says, “I’d like for Jake to be a mime in one episode!”

Weber just wants his character to get a decent night’s sleep, without his Medium wife waking up gasping to ghostly occurrences in the middle of the night.

He adds, “The only thing consistent in the show is that my poor character will NEVER get a decent night’s sleep!”

Medium airs Mondays on NBC.
