Carson Daly Plans To Party With Crew On New Year’s Eve

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – This New Year’s Eve, after the ball drops in New York City, Carson Daly is determined to grab a drink with his crew.

For the fourth year in a row, Daly is hosting NBC’S New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly special on December 31, live from the madness of Times Square in New York City, and after the show wraps, Daly plans to do some partying of his own.

Daly explains, “Our whole crew works so hard to put our New Year’s Eve show together, that we’re already thinking about where to take our camera guys, sound guys, and producers to celebrate once the show is over. We’ll definitely need some champagne after our weeks of hard work!”

But Daly won’t leave Times Square right away, and jokes that he may stick around and “grab a broom and start sweeping up the confetti.”

And while the live countdown show is stressful, Daly says he can’t imagine ringing in the new year any other way.

A few years back, when Daly was out of the country on New Year’s Eve, the host says he “suffered withdrawals” from not covering the NYC celebration.

He adds, “I missed being up there, on the risers, with the best view of the craziness. It’s hard to describe how exciting it is up there. I look forward to it every year!”
