‘Today’ Show Hosts Share Their Special Holiday Memories

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Today show co-anchors Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira are reflecting on their favorite holiday memories, and they involve some sweet childhood toys.

For Vieira, one of her favorite Christmas memories was the year she received a life-size, three-foot doll that she “absolutely loved,” but has lost its luster over the years.

Vieira explains, “I recently got the doll out of storage and it only has one leg from playing with it so much. It actually looks kind of scary now, but I still love it!”

Lauer’s favorite holiday memories are of when he got new, shiny bikes for Christmas from his dad, who was a business savvy bike company executive.

Lauer says, “I would get the coolest, latest bike every year and I’d become a riding advertisement for my dad’s bicycle company. Even if it was 22 degrees outside in New York on Christmas morning, he’d make me get out there and show my new bike to every kid on the block!”
