‘Scrubs’ Creator Has Coveted Power Over His Wife

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Scrubs producer Bill Lawrence has some coveted power over his wife, actress Christa Miller – but only while the cameras are rolling.

That’s because Miller is one of the stars of Scrubs, where she plays sassy Jordan Sullivan, and as creator and executive producer of the show, Lawrence gets to call the shots – for once.

Lawrence explains, “I love working with my wife because it means that at least a few times a month I can tell her where to stand, what to wear, and what to say and do. I’m one of the luckiest guys in the world. Not very many husbands get that kind of power!”

And Lawrence likes to push his luck with Miller to the limit, especially in the Scrubs wardrobe department.

He says, “Sometimes, just to mess with her, I’ll say, ‘Um, no Christa, I don’t like what you’re wearing. Can you go change please?’ She hates it, but I do it because I can.”

But back home, Lawrence is the first to admit that Miller wears the pants.

He adds, “At home, I can’t even decide what to eat or do for myself!”

Scrubs – in its seventh and final season – airs Thursdays on NBC.
