Thanksgiving Cocktails Make Any Turkey Wild

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Turkey may make you sleepy, but this Thanksgiving (Nov. 22) you can try some Turkey Day cocktails that’ll drive everyone wild.

If you’re hosting a large party you may want to toast your guests with something called the “Turkey Trot,” which combines cranberry juice, 7-up, and Wild Turkey bourbon.

For a more regal cocktail, try a concoction called a “Royal Turkey,” which mixes whisky, sloe gin, and apricot brandy, with apple juice and 7-up.

A sweeter Thanksgiving beverage is a “Pumpkin Pie,” which is simply pumpkin liqueur mixed with milk and topped with whipped cream.

For a festive twist on a traditional martini, try shakin’ up a “Pumpkin Martini” by mixing pumpkin vodka with ice and a dash of Cointreau, and straining it into a martini glass rimmed with pumpkin spice.

If that’s not your cup of booze, try a “Cherry Gobbler,” which blends Wild Turkey with grenadine and citrus soda.

And sure to put some feathers on your chest is a shooter called the “Turkey Feather,” which consists of two ounces of Wild Turkey, one ounce of Drambuie, and some Amaretto.

Finally, if hard liquor isn’t your taste, you can always savor some beer with a drink called “Pilgrim’s Punch,” a one-ounce shot of raspberry-flavored beer dumped into 20 ounces of Guinness.
