Band Frontman Wants To Rock Out For CSI Actor

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A rockin’ frontman wants to show his love for his favorite CSI: NY actor.

Adrian Perry, who fronts the rock group Tab The Band, is pumped that his band’s tune “Masked Bandit” will play on tonight’s (Oct. 24) episode of CSI:NY, and he wants to show his appreciation by penning an ode to the show’s star Gary Sinise.

Says Perry: “Gary Sinise is so cool. I could see my brother and I writing a special song for Gary. If we found out he was coming to our show, we’d definitely write something for him. We’d do it on the spot if we had to.”

But despite Perry’s love for Sinise – who’s best known for playing Lieutenant Dan in the movie Forrest Gump – Perry admits he doesn’t have much in common with Sinise’s detective character on CSI.

He says, “It’s pretty unlikely that I’d do my own crime scene investigating. I’ve come close to committing some crimes, but I’ll leave the investigating to the pros.”

CSI: NY airs Wednesdays on CBS. Tab The Band’s album Pulling Out Just Enough to Win hits stores early 2008.
