‘Queer Eye’ Guys Won’t Makeover Celebs

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The style experts on Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy love giving guys makeovers, but they’d rather style an average Joe than a Hollywood hunk.

Ted Allen, the food and wine connoisseur, and Kyan Douglas, the expert in male grooming, are part of the Fab Five Queer Eye clique who believe their extreme makeovers are better suited for the average, style-deprived guy than Hollywood celebrities like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matthew McConaughey.

Allen explains, “Celebrities have their own stylists and don’t really need us as much as normal straight guys do. Our makeovers are for sloppy guys in college, guys with extreme back hair, and guys with a sink full of dishes in a dirty apartment. George Clooney doesn’t have a sink full of dishes.”

But Douglas isn’t totally opposed to using his style weapon on one sexy silver screen stud.

Douglas jokes, “I’d give Matthew McConaughey a makeover in an instant, but it would have nothing to do with his hair, skin, or style!”

The final season of Queer Eye is now airing on Bravo.
