‘Law & Order’ Cops Controlled By Kids

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – On Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Vincent D’Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe shake down conniving criminals, but when they get home, their intimidating images don’t fool anyone.

D’Onofrio – who played villainous roles in The Cell and The Salton Sea – is shocked at the thought that his kids could ever be scared of his imposing screen presence.

He says, “Are you crazy? My children run my life! They’re not intimidated by me at all. My son just rolls his eyes!”

Erbe echoes her partner-in-crime, saying, “I want to say, ‘Don’t you know who my character is!’”

And while their ball-busting police work helps keep New York City’s streets safe, the powerful police partners say their psychological powers are only in play while the cameras are rolling.

D’Onofrio says, “When we’re shooting in the streets, some people get very excited, but nobody’s intimidated!”

Law & Order: Criminal Intent airs October 4 on USA.
