Bret Michaels Has No ‘Groupies’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Poison frontman Bret Michaels may be a bonafide babe magnet, but the rocker insists he has no groupies.

Michaels – who’s currently searching for love on his own reality TV dating show called Rock Of Love – says while thousands of sexy women have flocked to his rock concerts over the years, he’s never considered any of them to be Poison “groupies.”

Says Michaels: “I’ve always had a hard time calling girls groupies because it takes two to tango. If they’re into us and we invite them to party, we’re just as interested in them as they are in us. I’m happy hot girls come to our shows, but I don’t think they’re groupies, I think they’re just really die-hard Poison fans that happen to be good-looking.”

Still, partying with “die-hard Poison fans” has led Michaels into some very uncomfortable situations.

Turns out, during the casting of his reality dating show, Michaels had to turn down a couple of babes before the cameras started rolling because he “knew them” already.

He explains, “I looked at the final 30 girls we had chosen and realized I knew like five of them from Poison concerts and after parties. I had to eliminate them right away because I didn’t want to be partial to them over the girls I had never met before.”

Rock Of Love With Bret Michaels airs Sundays on VH1.
