Reformed Party Girl Sheds Light On Wild, Young Hollywood

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – An ex-wild child is shedding light on what it’s like to be a reformed Hollywood party girl, and maybe Lindsay Lohan could learn a thing or two.

Anna David, a former celebrity reporter has just written a book titled Party Girl (Harper Collins), which is loosely based on her life as a young, hot party princess livin’ it up in Tinseltown and descending into drug and alcohol addiction.

Although her personal experiences are years behind her and very sobering, David still understands the mindset of Hollywood party girls like Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Nicole Richie.

Says David: “I know how easy it is to escape your problems and emotions through drugs or alcohol. These girls are surrounded by people who abuse substances every day and they get sucked in and don’t want to listen to anyone about getting back on track. It’s really sad.”

And while David feels for the starlets, she still believes they’re veering into very dangerous out-of-control territory.

She explains, “These girls’ behaviors are really extreme for anyone, Hollywood star or not. Nobody gets DUIs all the time or stays out late every night like a lot of these girls do. They’re unsettled, young, and immature so they party. That’s what I did.”
