Tom Sizemore Takes Fake Therapy Seriously

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Troubled actor Tom Sizemore needs all the help he can get, and one pretend psychiatrist is happy to help him – even though she’s scared for her life.

Actress Alexandra Wentworth sizes up Sizemore while playing a shrink on her new show Head Case. She admits she was worried Sizemore didn’t realize she wasn’t the real deal and explains: “We improvise the entire thing the second the actor walks in the door, but I got the feeling that Tom was getting a little too personal.”

Says Wentworth: “There were times when I wanted to tell him it wasn’t a real session. He was getting all dark in a rehab sort of way and I wanted to tell him the show was a comedy.”

However, Wentworth – who is married to political commentator George Stephanopoulos – kept her mouth shut because she didn’t want to set him off or get “punched.”

As she puts it, “I was a little scared and I had it come out in my character – there really wasn’t much acting involved in that scene.”

Head Case, which also features guest appearances by Alanis Morissette, Jason Priestley and Andy Dick, premieres Wednesday (Apr. 18) on Starz.
