Cusimano says Ray makes sure the band gets their share of gourmet treats during the long practice sessions, such as sage pumpkin and sausage pasta.
Says Cusimano: We get lucky once in a while, and she sends me into the studio with a bunch of leftovers. The guys in the band love it.
To thank Ray for her troubles, Cusimano likes to write songs inspired by the chatty chef, like a song from his first album titled Burn, which Cusimano assures has nothing to do with her cooking abilities.
However, Cusimano admits that Rays focus on her cooking doesnt allow for much serenading around the house.
He adds, Rachel loves my music, but to be honest, shed rather watch Law And Order while shes cooking than have me sing to her.
Cusimano and The Cringe release their new album, Tipping Point, on February 20.
