Nutritionist Still Proud Of Her 25-Year-Old Cupcake

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One nutritionist in Chicago doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth anymore thanks to a cupcake she’s kept for over 25 years.

Believe it or not, Bonnie Minsky bought a wrapped Hostess cupcake back in 1981 and still has the snack on display at her nutrition seminars – fully intact.

Minsky kept the cupcake to show how trans-fats prevents food from breaking down properly.

Says Minsky: “The cupcake is a little hard but still completely preserved. The plastic around the cupcake is more worn down than the cake itself!”

Although the sweet temptation has been in Minsky’s life for a quarter-century, she insists that she’s never had a craving to bite into it.

Not everyone feels the same way about the cupcake.

About 13 years ago, a “little old lady” tried to stuff the snack into her purse at one of Minsky’s seminars.

She jokes: “I caught her red-handed!”
