Ashton Kutcher Doesn’t Have What It Takes To Be A Real Coast Guard Officer

HOUSTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Ashton Kutcher may play a macho Coast Guard officer in the new flick The Guardian, but a former Coast Guard officer thinks the actor would sink under the pressure in real life.

Retired Coast Guard helicopter pilot Darrel Creacy came to this conclusion after he attended a question and answer session with the actor, who was discussing the film with Coast Guard families.

After listening to him, Creacy thinks Kutcher, who plays a rescue swimmer, “wouldn’t be able to hack it” in the Guard because training is almost as “intense as the Navy SEALS.”

Creacy says Kutcher looked like he “had to be there” and didn’t really realize the magnitude of “the institution” that saves lives on a daily basis.

Creacy and fellow Coast Guard officer Carlito Vicencio are co- authors of The Real Guardians (Dude Productions Inc.), which recounts the experiences of five real life Coast Guard officers during Hurricane Katrina.
