Couple Plans To Say ‘I Do’ In Space

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Getting married can feel like an out of this world experience and for one Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, couple, it will be – literally.

Cindy Cashman and fiancee Mitch Walling met in cyberspace a year ago and in 2008 they plan to be the first couple to say their vows in outer space.

The two dished out $500,000 for the honor – which will launch them 62 miles into zero gravity space. The whole shindig will last about an hour and the couple has already written the vows they plan to say during their four minutes of complete weightlessness.

Now the two are on a search to find a minister to marry them and Cashman says she plans to pitch a reality show called Who Wants To Marry Cindy And Mitch? in order to pick the most deserving candidate.

As she puts it, “People say I’m crazy, but I’m doing exactly what I want to do.”
