Israelis Fighting Hezbollah By Boycotting Hash

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A lot of Israelis are going to extremes to fight back against the terrorist organization Hezbollah – by boycotting hash smoking.

According to the Jewish newspaper The Forward, Hezbollah funds much of its activities by smuggling hash into Israel from Lebanon.

Although hash smoking is very popular with Israeli adolescents, the Hezbollah connection has many pot smokers boycotting the drug in hopes of stopping the funding of terrorism.

Some boycotters say just refraining from hash isn’t enough to burn Hezbollah’s money source and they’re calling on the Israeli government to decriminalize hash.

They figure if the drug is made legal, the demand for underground sources would vanish and Hezbollah’s hash monopoly would collapse.

However, not every hash smoker believes in the boycott. One Jerusalem drug dealer had this reaction: “Roll that s, light that s, smoke that s.”
